About Us
For more than a century, Plaza Park Bank has been delivering personalized and convenient banking services for individuals, families and businesses. Plaza Park is a locally-owned, family-run community bank with branch locations in Waite Park and Sartell.
Our Story
Plaza Park Bank, first known as The State Bank of Rockville, got its start in the small town of Rockville, Minnesota - about ten miles southwest of St. Cloud. The bank remained in Rockville until 1957 when the Eickhoff family moved the bank to St. Cloud and changed the name to Plaza Park State Bank. The bank moved in 1969 to Division Street in Waite Park and later to its current location on Sixth Avenue South. Growing and eager to serve a more diverse group of clients, Plaza Park Bank opened a second branch in Sartell on Connecticut Avenue in 2006.
Community Involvement
Over the years, the bank has changed and grown to meet new needs in the community. But one thing has stayed the same: Plaza Park Bank’s commitment to community. Plaza Park Bank has a rich tradition of supporting the Central Minnesota Community through volunteerism, charitable giving and sponsorships. Committed to building strong kids and strong families, Plaza Park Bank primarily supports organizations focused on youth development and serving families.
Our recent community involvement includes:
- Organizing a local motorcycle ride to raise money for returning military and their families.
- Helping feed hungry children worldwide by packing food at Kids Against Hunger.
- Helping build homes for local families in need through Habitat for Humanity.
